Habitat[]
Chinese armor-tailed scorpions are found in Northern China as well as parts of Korea, Japan, and Magnolia. A study of Chinese scorpions found specimens between Guide in the west, Beipiao in the north, Wafangian in the east, and Hubei in the south.[1] They prefer warm and dry areas, especially those with sparse vegetation.[2]

Legality[]
The scorpions have been red-listed in China due to over-exploitation by humans. Most specimens which are available for sale are captive bred and do not effect the indigenous populations. This species may require a license in Singapore, though it is clear whether the license pertains to the sale of scorpions, or the owning of scorptions.[3]
Buying[]
It is possible to purchase this species prepared for human consumption. Finding live scorpions is difficult, or maybe impossible.
